Parent/Guardian workshops and presentations
Parent/guardian play an integral part in their child’s career decision making process. Too often they have career conversations with their children founded on out of date information fuelled by anxiety and uncertainty.

Year 10 pathways planning templates, student and staff workshops
The career pathway planning or Senior Education and Training Plan (in QLD) document and meeting is a valuable tool in the career development support staff’s tool kit. A well-constructed plan and meeting can put young people and their parent/guardian at ease with the senior subject selection process along with a better understanding about career decision making.
In Queensland the 2018, Year 10 cohort being will be the first year to undertake their senior studies in the new ATAR system it is important that the SET P process is relevant, current and user friendly for both students and their parent/guardian.
